Why design matters:
Ok so this is more-so why design matters to me, and why I THINK it actually matters to everyone. Design is all around us. Behind everything - from the phone in your hand, the shoes on your feet, to even the cells in your body - there was complex process of design. Now look around... The landscaped courtyard outside your office, the arched entry way in your home, even the color of paint on the walls around you, was a process of design. All of these subtle design choices affect how we experience the space we are in.
Home & Landscape Design is what I love when it comes to working with my hands.
My fascination and obsession with building came from the many years spent on the job site working with my parents. From rentals, flips, and new home builds, I've been a part of the whole process since youth. Now on my own, I obsess over dreaming up new ideas, drawing up the plans, and getting my hands dirty in order to create spaces.
Landscaping for me, is like meditation. Being outside, feeling the sweat on my brow, the dirt on my hands, and the sun on my back - is where I like to be. Nothing feels better than transforming an outdoor space into something that is alive and beautiful.
Properly mix the two processes of Home & Land Design, and you end up with a place you love to spend your time and live your life!
